Brad A Blackburn, CFP®, ChFC®

Founder and Wealth Advisor

Brad has over 24 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is a South Carolina native and a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Financial Management and a minor in Accounting.

Brad began his career working for an insurance company, Life of Georgia, in Anderson, South Carolina. He joined Prudential Financial in Greenville a year later and relocated to their Columbia office in 2001. Brad founded Dyadic Financial Management, LLC in 2007, and in the first quarter of 2008, Brad took Dyadic Financial Management, LLC independent.

Brad is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, a Chartered Financial Consultant®, and holds Series 6, 63, 65, 7, 24 registrations with LPL Financial, Life, Health and Property & Casualty licenses.
 
Brad has published financial articles for MD News and has co-hosted both the Discipline Financial Radio Show and Parent Care Show, heard on NewsRadio 560AM in Columbia. Brad was privileged to interview Steve Forbes regarding his book How Capitalism Will Save Us in 2009.
 
Brad adheres to Rotary International’s motto, “Service Above Self”. Brad is involved in many community service activities, including blood drives for the American Red Cross, Rotary Reads and the Salvation Army’s Ring the Bell campaign. Brad volunteers with Child Evangelism Fellowship and EAA Young Eagles.  Brad is a board member for Prisma Health Children's Hospital and Pacific HELPS Charitable Holdings. Brad also serves as a deacon at Gantt Street Baptist Church in Cayce, and he and his wife participate in medical mission trips, most recently to Yap, Micronesia.
 
Brad and his family live in Blythewood, South Carolina. His wife Melanie is a Pediatric Hospitalist and they have four children, Anna & Ashlyn (the twins featured throughout the website), Ethan and Ava. Brad enjoys flying, scuba diving and coaching softball and soccer.

Colleen Rader

Administrative Assistant

Colleen is the newest member of our team. She has over 10 years of experience in client relations within the hospitality and financial services industry. She was born and raised in El Paso, Texas.

Colleen began her education at El Paso Community College obtaining an Associates in Accounting and Economics with a brief sabbatical in Culinary Arts before transferring to the University of Texas at El Paso. She graduated with a Bachelors in Finance in 2018.

After graduation, Colleen relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio starting a career in banking with Woodforest National Bank. From there, she joined LM Kohn & Company. Colleen welcomed 2022 with a change in scenery moving to South Carolina. She joined Dyadic Financial Management in August of 2022.

Colleen and her family live in Elgin. Her husband, Stephen, is a Staff Sergeant in the US Army stationed at Fort Jackson. They have two dogs Gideon and Stella Rose. Colleen enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and practicing yoga.
